The “Focus on Healthy Eating” Certified Facilitator training program is OPEN FOR YEAR-ROUND ENROLLMENT!

Training begins immediately with these 5 steps!

Register for FOHE Certified Facilitator Program

Register for the “Focus on Healthy Eating” Certified Facilitator Program as a single program option or through our Workplace Wellness Ambassador Program bundled option.

“Focus on Healthy Eating” facilitator trainees have 12 months from the date of program registration to complete their certification as outlined in Steps 1-5

Trainees unable to complete the certification requirements within the 12-month period may be granted a six-month extension (or potentially longer under extenuating circumstances) via a $250 program extension fee (fees may be reduced or waived in unforeseen/emergency situations involving health/ medical/ personal/ family matters.)

 Complete Modules and Discussion Posts

Trainees are provided immediate access to program resources in the Ruzuku eLearning platform upon program registration for independent study and completion of the 12 module discussion posts.

Attend 3 Training Webinars

FOHE Facilitator trainees are to participate in the three live, Zoom hosted training sessions within 12 months of program registration to meet certification requirements.

Each of the three training webinars are offered three times a year — Fall, Winter and Spring within a 6-week period.

Trainees also receive ongoing coaching and peer support both during and post-program via a Ruzuku discussion forum and FOHE Facilitator Facebook group (trainees are admitted to Facebook group upon completion of the 3 training webinars).

Facilitator training webinars are recorded and saved to Ruzuku for future review.

Complete a Skill-Building Assignment

Trainees independently or partnered with another program participant, prepare and record a customized 15-20 minute FOHE module presentation using the Zoom platform (free plans available).

Presentations are prepared from one of the program’s 6 module PowerPoint presentations and corresponding resources.

Assignment submissions are to include the customized PowerPoint deck used in the recording along with a list of handouts, discussion questions, and “Take Action” activities referenced in the presentation. Two to three of the assignment submissions will be selected for live presentation in the third webinar of each of the 6-week training series.

Deliver a FOHE Pilot Program

Trainees independently or with a co-facilitator organize, market and facilitate a 6 or 12-week onsite or online FOHE pilot program (i.e. employer, community, or client group program) within twelve months of program registration.

Trainees are encouraged to begin their pilot scheduling and preparations shortly after registering for the FOHE Facilitator Program. (Note: replays of the 3 training sessions are available in the Ruzuku elearning platform to support pilot preparation prior to participation in the live training webinars.)

Prepare a FOHE Pilot Summary Report

Trainees are to prepare a FOHE Pilot Summary Report throughout their pilot using the provided template. Reports are to be submitted within 4 weeks of pilot completion.

To become a “Focus on Healthy Eating Program” Certified Facilitator, trainees are to complete the following requirements within 12 months of program registration.

Step 1: Study 6 modules/toolkits + complete 12 discussion posts

Step 4: Deliver a FOHE Pilot Program

Step 5: Prepare a FOHE Post-Pilot Summary Report
